Anyone want to refer-a-friend me?

Hey all. I just picked up the Going Rogue Complete Collection and figured I'd start off with a free trial for a little bit of a head start - time is money, after all. Especially when it comes to MMORPGs!

The refer-a-friend trial is 10 days, the standard trial is only 7, there's a three-day incentive! Plus you'd get a free month out of the deal.

All I'm looking for in return is a nice, helpful Supergroup on Virtue who would be able to answer the occasional question. That's all I ask.

Of course, I checked with my friends, but I only know one former CoH player and he has no plans to return. So I came here looking for a kind stranger.

Can I have some information on how to contact you or your SG ingame?

Anyone else, perhaps a wee bit more helpful?

I'm not just giving out a free month, I actually want someone to talk to and maybe get a tiny bit of help from as I learn the game. So please, give me some info to work with. :P

If you'd like to contact me in game for help, I'm usually on Guardian Server. Global handle @CharybdisClan.

I usually play nights, around 8pm Central US Time. Also, depending on which server you choose, you might wish to look in their specific forums on these boards and ask about global channels. For Guardian, there's the Guardian channel, and a couple of others that I'm a member of that are invite only. Also, if you need help you can always join the channel "N P C" (I believe that's it.) They're around to help new players out, and you'd get somebody able to talk to you all the time.

Finally, the help channel is a good place to go too. Just type /hc and then your question and somebody there can answer it for you.

I suggest you join the N P C channel, it is a global mentor program for new comers, they've been very helpful to me. I joined game about 3 weeks ago and recently open my very own SG. Just yesterday we were tagging badges to open-up area beacons for our teleporters. If you come by Triumph (server) and haven't found an SG home yet, I invite you to join us. We are currently small, and starting out, so our base is but a starter base, but at least you'll have a friendly place to start. I thought Trial players couldn't join Global channels.
