Pistols disappear after using Scroption's Patron Mace

I've just taken the mace mastery patron pool on my defender and after using the mace related powers from scorpion's pool causes the right hand pistol of my set to be invisible/not draw. Zoning doesn't seem to fix the issue and going to the tailor and 'fixing' the pistol makes the mace invisible, anyone else notice this?
