Can't select map options from options tab

A new wrinkle!
So, I can apparently select some options.. if the option rollout pops over a certain portion of the UI. What's happening is that if the options pop out on the wrong part of the screen (it's a very small section that works), the cursor never changes from the hand icon to the pointer. By stretching and moving the map size and position, I can get the options to a point where I can click on what I need to.
It's definitely a weird bug, it seems.
(search didn't want to work, so if this is a solved issue, just point me towards the thread
Note: I'm using the OSX client, but I have no idea if this is an OSX issue, so it's going here in the general tech forum.
PROBLEM: can't select the map pip options! Things like whether or not to display Architect Entertainment, or the Sewers, and the like. Clicking on either the name in the Options rollout, or its radio button, instead jumps the cursor to roughtly the middle of the map, and nothing is selected or deselected.
This happens both windowed and fullscreen, and on every character.
Graphics card is an nvidia 8800 GS, system is latest OSX Snow Leopard patch.
