1. To start off these companies are criminal organisations. They aren't making money selling gold/inf. They are making money committing credit card fraud and identity theft.
2. If you've bothered to pay any attention to their spam you would know that the less people using their services causes them to lower their prices not raise them.
3. They work every game possible. So what if sales drop in CoH. They'll just lower their prices to the point where some gullible twit is dumb enough to give them his credit card and personal info thinking he's getting a great bargain.
Just to give you some perspective. You can ask anyone who participated in the Star Trek Online open beta. The RMT sites were spamming that game before it even went live. Everyone in the beta knew that the servers were being erased before the game went live and we would all be starting over from scratch. Nothing we acquired would carry over.
Guess what? Players were still getting caught and banned for buying from the RMT sites DURING the open beta! One players account was hacked and used by an RMT site to advertise on their forums.
There will always be plenty of people willing to use their services.
I like that you are trying to solve what you see as a problem. I just disagree as to the type of solution that you propose.
