Hasten uptime formula (in think I got the parentheses in the right places...):
(((recharge with Hasten active)-(120))/(recharge with Hasten active)) * (recharge with Hasten inactive) + 120)
In the step by step...
1. (Recharge with Hasten active) - 120
2. Step 1 / (recharge with Hasten active)
3. Step 2 * (recharge with Hasten inactive)
4. Step 3 + 120
You're converting the remaining recharge time for Hasten into a percent, converting that remaining percent into the recharge while Hasten is inactive, and then adding the period that Hasten is active to determine what the total recharge time is.
I can't remember if I've ever posted what I use. I'm usually looking for my down time in seconds.
Let's see... I do it step by step too...
1) A = 120/recharge with Hasten activeDouble checking Sergei, who is almost perma Hasten:
2) B = 1/recharge with Hasten inactive
3) Down Time = (1-A)/B= (1 - 120/recharge with Hasten active)/(1/recharge with Hasten inactive)
= recharge with Hasten inactive * (1 - 120/recharge with Hasten active)
= 149.2 * (1 - 120/121.1)OK, that at least matches the result in my spreadsheet. Now, is it equivalent to Umbral's formula?
= 149.2 * (1 - 0.9909)
= 149.2 * .0091
= 1.358
(((recharge with Hasten active)-(120))/(recharge with Hasten active)) * (recharge with Hasten inactive) + 120Yeah, it's equivalent, with the exception that he's calculating the time for Hasten to recharge, so he adds 120 seconds.
=(((121.1)-(120))/(121.1))*(149.2)+120
=((121.1-120)/121.1)*149.2+120
=(1.1/121.1)*149.2+120
= 0.0091 * 149.2 + 120
= 1.358 + 120
= 121.4

With most of the number gurus living in the scrapper boards I thought it was best to ask here. I'm looking for a way to calculate the real uptime of Hasten as opposed to the "uptime" I'm getting from Mid's. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything, even though I was sure I had seen the calculations done by someone (Werner I think) in a post earlier. I also tried to come up with it myself, but couldn't come up with any sensible... I blame that on it being nearly 0:30 AM. :P
