Unable to create Rated Gladiator match after I17?

This morning I tried to create a rated gladiator match to get the Grand Lanista badge, but I was unable to do so. The error said "This event cannot be rated because the level range for this event is invalid." My main was level 50 and my alt account was level 39. I know I did this before I17 using the same levels. I then got a friend to log on to his level 50 character and tried again, without success.

Can anyone else create a rated gladiator match at this time?

It looks like one of the drop-down menus is missing from the Arena window (on the top left).

Hopefully this will be fixed in a future patch.
