Missing personal items

My only sugestion for this is to make sure you are using the same character that created them. I accidentally had some stuff stored on the wrong toon before as well.
If that's not it, then I have no other suggestion except /petition to see if support can find out what happened to them.
I only craft on my main, on Freedom server.
A bug ate the items...even worse, I emailed 1.2 billion influence (as 999,999,999 and 200,000,001) and claimed it on the toon I wanted. Influence was there. Zoned a couple times, and now the influence is totally gone...not one character has it.
That's a good chunk of hard earned change.
Fortunately, I make influence pretty fast through WW, but still, how will I know that it won't happen again.
As to the personal items though, they are not that pricey to remake, I can live with that.
I haven't checked my personal items since before i17 came out, but I always keep crafted base items in there such as Telepads, Energy and Control devices, defense items, etc.
Today, I needed a couple items and the base wouldn't let me enter the Personal Items menu (it was dimmed). After thinking about it a few minutes, I opened the Vet rewards and created the comic covers...that lit up the Personal Items button, but those covers were all that was there.
In other words, all of my Personal Items were gone.
Can others check and see if the same thing has happened to them?
