If you accidentally hit the report button when you mean to hit the rep button how do you remove the report you just submitted?

You don't. No way that I know of and sending additional tickets would just clog the system.

Don't worry about it too much. If you report, the thread is read before any action is taken. Many reports come in about threads which aren't in violation. Other threads escape report even though they are in violation. When in doubt report and leave it to our discretion, it helps keep the forums a more productive venue for discussion.

I don't know why, but it's really comforting to know that, whenever the need arises, a community representative is usually on hand to jump in and lend a hand. I'm serious here. There was a time on the forums when I felt we were basically dumped here to sort ourselves out, but the red name posts have really picked up recently, and it makes me happy to see it.
