It was a fun event and great time. Rolling up some serious merits never hurts either. Knocking out RV AVs for badges was bonus.

My (as of yesterday!) level 50 tank was splattered across the pavement by a swarm of Krakens in Talos. Yeowch.
My son partook in the festivities in my stead yesterday on our main account, and he loved it.
...and somehow he managed to get on a team infested with Mean Girls... time to have "the talk" with the boy.
My wife joined in a little later and I got in later on juuuuust in time to get e temp title in Pocket D.
Glad to see so many people come out.

This was great, I too was afraid of the lag after witnessing the lagfest on Virtue. But I felt the lag was pretty low considering. The only thing I was upset about was getting stuck in the hospital then crashing. Was not able to log back on, but hey I got a full hour can't complain.
Now if they would hurry and open the servers up!

Agreed, Ocho was amazing!!!! He spawned Recluse right on top of me during the start of the second hour and I lived, though my wife wasn't as fortunate.
I appreciate the fact that Ocho let us know that he was running a bit slow as he was working on multiple servers for the event, yet managed to bring us lots and lots of death and destruction.
Ocho needs a promotion to DieciOcho!!!!

I had one "+1.5GB limit" crash of the game client. And once when I was getting close, I re-logged to avoid crashing (sorry, reloadgfx just don't cut it).
I died twice. Once jumping 10+ Jack in Irons' and finding out that the mob of other players had jumped ANOTHER group of GMs...elsewhere. Then another time where I'd jumped on a group of Eochais with a group that was just a little too small to support me.
I'm good. But I'm not "take on 10 GMs and minions for 10 minutes, almost solo" good. The Lucky Shot rule kicks my butt eventually.

So...yeah, if any of you were around Seamus McSpikerton in Talos and were wondering why he just disappeared all of a sudden, that was him.
I crashed once, and then didn't manage to get back on MI's team, but that was okay since it was already about 2/3 of the way through. I had a blast - I have a post up somewhere with some screenies. Got my gold title, said hi to the slopes in the Chalet - and got my very best time EVER on them, on my first and only run... o.o Seriously what's up with that lol. Maybe it's the ninja run! More control but not too much to send you zooming around like IR does.
Had a blast. Love these events, though I do wish we'd gotten titans or kronoses and such. Or a nemi horse.

We try and be lady-like when we have a few people we don't normally team with us I know you have kids that use your account so unless I see your global on a character I recognize I usually will just say hi and not bug too much unless it turns out to be you.
The event was pretty kick ***! I only lag crashed once - and it seemed to take out a majority of the team so it was pretty severe, but all and all the lag wasnt bad at all!
I loved it when Ocho said "Time to check City Hall!" and the basement was just full of baddies in every room. Great fights!
I got some *licks* in on Ocho - no reply tho...I think I scared him. LOL - Also I got epic licks in as I hit the broadcast in Pocket D with a "*licks everyone*" lol \m/

I wanted him to drop The Honoree, but he never did...
We had five or six of them dropped on us in Pocket D last year, with three of them camping the hospital, "Dead upon rez" happened quite a bit.
A great, fun event. I was able to provide a Storm Defender to help debilitate the enemy.
We certainly gave those monsters what for!
