ELM/Regen Stalker

So I've been leveling an ELM/Regen. He has a PvE build planned, but I decided to take a shot basing at what I've seen here to try to put a PvP build for him, since I'll eventually want to PvP again, even if not all the time, or I'll burn out again quickly from this game. Well here goes my first attempt for a PvP build post-i13, I tried to keep it cheap, I'm not rich redside, when I left the game I could purple out a toon with the 800 mil I had left, now this money can buy... 4 pieces of some purple set lol. Thoughts (please)? I don't know how much DR my recharge will suffer, if Hibernate with this slotting will be available after the nophase timer, the DR on my damage (tried to put as much damage bonuses as I could), well I don't even know if Recon get's Dr'ed if you use it too quickly. I don't know **** lol.

Thanks for any input!

just remember, no matter what people say or how "cool" it is to AS people, learning to drive-by jump-cancel thunderstrikes is far more efficient.

ohai barrier!

So by 'drive by cancel TS' you mean activating TS and , when you get 'in touch' with the enemy TS is activated instead of trying to AS some moving target?

I pvp'ed quite a bit on SC with my EM/Nin but I'm not familiar with the term. I was getting practice is ASing zigzagging superspeeding people but I didn't get good at it so I used Total Focus/ET a lot lol (which I know, dosn't crit for double ).

No, he means jump canceling.

Oh thanks mac (and barrier). I can see how to do that with Dominate (I did that a lot with my mind/emp, in RV or normal PvE, even by accident in PvE) but... TS? Like, you use TS and activate something right after the 3.3 seconds? For example TS+jump after the animation is done and then you can trow sharks without the cast time?

Btw is the build viable?

Oh ok I'll learn about this jump canceling thing when I actually start going to Siren's with the Stalker (screw it 5 more levels and I'll take her there with SOs and a Stealth IO+Stealth), I'm just posting because nobody actually answered me since the discussion got a bit derailed: Is this build ok? Viable?

Thanks!

Well, you don't really need both Phase and Hibernate (just Phase is probably better since you'll get camped using Hibernate in zone). Should probably have some endredux in AS instead of the extra recharge, because spamming it will make your end drop pretty bad. Otherwise, looks decent.

Thank you mac.

Yeah I know I'm a noob but that makes sense, especially on a toon with a lot of self-heals. I'll put an endredux in AS and instead of Hiber what do you think I could get? First thought (like what I thought the moment I read your post) was Veng for an extra LoTG. But maybe there's something more useful?

If you are doing alot of zone stuff lighting rod is pretty handy to have.

Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

Con, would you happen to know the LR damage? Mids says 177 base in PvP but I dunno if Mids is reliable for pvp numbers. I coud get it instead of SSJaws since I'll have to get used again to the RV 'chaos' before moving to more complicated stuff like arena.

I will check it next time I am in game. Its a pretty strong attack. And in zones the travel aspect can be huge when the tas are out.
