Hey all, before the new Posi TF comes out, I would like to run this one more time for my tank to get the badge - so I can say I did it the old fashion way!

I have run this solo before, but with an ice/ice tank, I don't feel like being up to 4AM solo.

So, would a few people like to sign up in running this TF Tuesday 13 Apr? I would prefer to keep this to <4 people total. Any AT and lvl10+.

I can be on between 8 and 815 PM EST on Tuesdays with my toon Tundra Tunder.

Thanks!

What if the new Posi comes out tomorrow?

There would be a hugantic uproar because I17 hadn't gone into "open beta"?

Penny, I got a scrapper I can drag through it for the XP; I'd be on closer to 815 though.

Heh, I thought the same thing too - open beta in one day! Yikes!

Anyhow, thanks Voo.

I thought they opened it up while I was away. Which now I'm glad they didn't since I will have more time on my toons with BoTZ.

Ugh, Posi on a weeknight is always rough for me. I'll see if I can fit it in tomorrow or not... need to get this on my MA/Regen Scrapper, still.

Fine with me. Anything that is 10+ is good to go!

I could bring something tankish if you'll have me

Well since GP is a maybe still, we have room for a 4th. I do not like running a Posi TF with big groups. Just too many painful memories.

So far:
me (tank or blaster)
Voo (scrapper)
Vanum (our stealther!)
Peppercat (tankish toon)
GP (scrapper maybe)

That is the most I want on this run. Thanks all for signing up. I will be on my tank by Posi around 815PM EST.

Edit - May go blaster

One thing I would say to you, the "Aaaaargh not a large team" factor has actually been removed from posi with SSK. We've done 2 8 man kill nearly all posis in the last couple of weeks in 2 hours or just over with my SG (peppercat's in the same one). It's not the same with a team SSKd to 15 as it used to be with a team of lvl 12s.

This is true, especially if you have a lot of damage to help rip through the kill-alls

While the SSK is a great feature, IMO, the +5 power levels are what make Posi no longer the nightmare-inducing Pug-slaughter fest of yonder years.

It's still a suck-fest in terms of interesting or "fun" though, again IMO, and 2 hours in it is beyond what I'd care to subject myself to. A smaller team will get it done much much faster.

The updates will drastically change opinions, and this nostalgia will never have to be made mention again.

I am actually with Voo here (ACK! Why do I feel like I am burning suddenly!!! ) in that Posi is just not fun on the larger teams. SSK and the +5 levels helps with the agony.

2 hours was massacring everything that got in our way, would have been less if we'd stealthed anything, I just took the 8 levels I got quite happily (12-20).

Stupid fool of a Took server ate my post.

Anyway, I prefer small team runs for Posi, myself. Usually more fun. Still planning on coming, Penny, just working around some real life stuff. And the sooner we start, the better.

No problem GP. Got you noted.

And just in case the rest of the posters see this - I may go with my blaster now. I just saw that she needed the badge and she is one of my original from my 1st day of playing.

Anyhow, if I go blaster - Nydia. If I go tank - Tundra Tunder. Sigh...I wish I could make up my mind!

If I get home in time I may have a character that could use this. I'll be on around 8:15 EST as well.

Getting this paranoid feeling about being known for the number of times I die...who could be spreading this!?!

Penny and I wouldn't have died that time if you all had followed us, rather than "zigging when you zagged." Honestly, no one ever wants to follow me anymore. What do I have to do, break out a tank again?

fix'd. Cuz, ya know, it was just you two all by yourself. Did ya see on the map how everyone else faltered just a little, and then resumed their senses by going my route?

As for breaking out a tank to get people to follow, not on my watch. You know the rules. You proved the rules. Don't fight karma
