Comic Book Mode is a system that allows players to create digital comics based on their missions, story arcs, and Task Forces. When activated, the system takes screen shots of your characters progress through out a mission and creates stylized versions of those images in the form of a comic book. Once a mission is completed, the comic can then be edited with custom fonts, word bubbles, and action exclamations. In the editor, you have the option of using the standard shots, or adding your own as well as your own chat comments from the mission. NCP dialog is automatically place at the appropriote pannels, but can be modified the same way as player chat.
Once a comic is created, players will be able to view and even trade comics from other players through the Comic Books tab in the player info window. Custom covers from Dev-Allowed artists such as Gill Bates or David Nakayama can be imported to replace the standard covers. Players can post their comics at information terminal through out the city and players can rate their favorites and, like AE missions, can even get Dev recognitions.
This is still a work in progress, so lets hear some imput.
"Samual_Tow - Be disappointed all you want, people. You just don't appreciate the miracles that are taking place here."
This is something of sufficient completiy that I truly think a separate and dedicated team is better suited to the task than actually adding it to the game.
