I just downloaded the new mids and I refused to install correctly though everyone else seems to have it working on the AT forums.

Any suggestions??

Did you do a complete uninstall of the old version before installing the new one?

If you did can you provide some info on what problems/error messages you're getting.

If you post there, please provide more information than "refused to install correctly" (because this could mean just about anything).

i went to cohtitan to update my mids. not from the updater that pops up on mids. i started the install and then get an error saying something about not being able to open a file that ends in .exe. and i am running vista and can not get the option to run the updater in admin.

That sounds like a vista permissions problem. I can't help you there since I decided to skip the "upgrade".

EDIT: Just to clarify, the "upgrade" I skipped was Vista

Completely uninstall the old version
Download the new version exe
Right click on the exe and run as administrator
