New Graphics = New Animations/Models??
From the presentation they did at the last HeroCon, some graphical updates will apply to our characters. Notably, reflective surfaces (they demonstrated with, IIRC, the riot gear helmet option) will reflect the environment. So if you panned around your character, and looked at the front of the helmet, you would see a reflection of what was in front of your character.
There are also supposed to be some new emotes in I17, and I think there are going to be new stances (I can't recall the exact phrasing) for Going Rogue, although I'm not sure if those require a pre-order or not.

Personally I think it is going to look so good, even a little will make one happy.
To expand on what Kierthos said, in the video from HeroCon, it was stated that any costume parts that were "metal" or "plastic" would have the reflections.
(Went back and re-watched it after I got my new compy 2 weeks ago )

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:

Just wondering if the new graphics overhaul will included the animations and rendering of the models in game (ie, your character and the NPCS) or is it just the enviroment? I havent seen anything about this mentioned yet, it may make the characters and NPCs look out of place if the whole look of the game is not upgraded.
Any thoughts? Skeletal Modelling anyone? How about some more acrobatic combat (like in STO) where you can make you character dive/leap to away?
heres hoping!
