Longbow Ballista!!

I was doing Gaussian's arc with Lt.Sefu and it had donned on me hes a LB ballista(duh!) and was wondering can we make a legitemit ballista In game. What power can I combine to get close to the results?

The powers? Force Field/Energy Blast/Power Mastery Defender, I guess.

The results? Well, NPCs cheat.

Ballistas are basically FF / Energy Blast defenders with a lot more damage and some Energy Melee attacks. You could get very close by making a FF / Energy Defender and taking the Power Mastery epic. Be sure to get Assault and as many +damage set bonuses as possible too if you want it to be a true Ballista, because those things hit hard.

Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

Damn skippy they hit hard! Sefu pissed me off so bad i just left the mish.

I see...In order for me to get it right,I need a fender primary and a Blaster set or an ancilliary pool to make it happen. Ah well...so much for that theory.


Edit: Man I wish we can join LB...I will join a Ballista Group in a heart beat!
