SG Base's Mission Computer
Is your bases rent paid up?
- If not go pay your base rent.
- Base rent paid and still nothing?
If you are still showing no power or control and you have both power and control items [This is a bug that sometimes hits bases out of the blue.] ::
- Go into base edit mode.
- There are control and energy bars on the bottom right.
- Do you have enough power and control?
- If you have bars showing some progress and aren't red, then you need to raise the control or energy until you have enough to power the base. You can do this by adding more powerful devices or adding aux devices to main control or power units.
- Go into place item mode
- pick up and rotate and slightly move each control and energy device in the base until the control and energy activate. You must rotate and move the item. Use R to rotate the item.
- If you still think you are lacking control or energy, do this to each control or energy producing item in the base.
If there is something else that you were trying to get answers to, please rephrase your questions. I'm not really clear on exactly what is going on based on the information that you have given.
Okay, a few things: (click on links for more detail)
Raid telepads do nothing right now. Those are for player vs player (PvP) superbase combat, which was disabled a while ago. They used to allow you to teleport to another supergroup's base to attack it.
The Mission Computers also do nothing right now except eat up Energy and Control. They do look cool, though - I use them for decorative purposes. They used to allow access to the Cathedral of Pain Trial, which allowed you to obtain Items of Power for Base PvP. Since Base PvP was disabled, so was the CoP Trial.
Items of Power, their bases, Dimensional Anchors, and Vault Rooms all are also related to Base PvP and are likewise disabled (Though the Vault Rooms function as regular rooms).
If you were looking to teleport around the city, you need the 'normal' basic telepads which have to be crafted. Once you craft them they appear in the "Place Personal Item" menu, not the Base Editing menu. Once placed they can be moved around in the regular base editor.
Note that you need Teleport Beacons to use the Basic Telepads. You unlock those by visiting various locations around the city while in Supergroup Mode.
The Supercomputer is a Control producing item. If you cannot afford one, you may be able to get away with using a Mainframe instead and attaching a few auxiliary control items to it.
Poke around the Paragon Wiki, it has lots of Base info.

I see myself as witty, urbane, highly talented, hugely successful with a keen sense of style. Plus of course my own special brand of modesty.

the sg mission computer is 100% useless heroside but on redside it gives the silver mantis sf, which is lvl 20-25 and highest merit awarding sf

Ah, yeah, sorry. I play mostly heroside. So, there is one use for the Mission Computer.
I wish it allowed you to access the Mission Architect system.

And its annoying how much prestiage you need to spend to just be able to do an extra SF redside.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):

But cool looking...
Things to remember:
-Common sense ain't;
-Overkill is the only kill;
-If someone asks if you're a god, run away.
And which will be available to EVERYONE come I17, so the item then becomes TOTALLY useless.
But cool looking... |
But we've seen their record of base love, sadly enough.
All that is planned fails. All that is born dies.
All that is built crumbles. This will always be true.
But memories remain, And that is beautiful.

Dear Devs:
"The things you think are useless, I can't understand." - Steely Dan, Reelin' in the Years
Unless you have something else planned (the eternal hope that never seems to come true), I17 is just another example of base item utility headed in the completey wrong direction.
One man's terrorist is another man's freedom (or freem?) fighter; just as one man's exploit is another man's feature.
Not really. It's a temporary outlay. Put in the computer, do the SF, remove computer. It's more like a rent-a-SF.

Before I was running with just a workshop/storage base, so it cost a lot to get base up to running the SM SF.
It was a good base learning experience, depsite the fustration of having to follow back throuh the chain of this needs this which need this. And I heart my empowerment buff station now which I wouldnt of bothered with before.
