Active Defense/Practiced Brawler and Redraw
Actually BaBs posted up a while ago that he was trying to work on getting rid of redraw but ran into a snag and wasn't sure how long it was going to take.

It's a technical issue that has to do with activation sequences. BABs explained that it's not something that's there because they fancy having it, so much as something that's there because the system requires it to be there. He actually tried to remove redraw in instances when an attack could fire, instead, but came up with a showstopper problem and shelved it until after Going Rogue.

But...I like the animation on my Kat/SR scrapper.

Would there be any way to rework these two powers to not force redraw? It's not a huge drop to DPS when they occur, but it's just mildly annoying. It's certainly not a question of balance, or Weapon Sets would be overpowered on sets like Invul and Stone Armor whose redraw-requiring powers come up more rarely, or Willpower whose only clickies are the Rez and the Tier 9. Simply put, it's a mild annoyance when my /SR toons have to put their weapon away in order to keep their mez protection, and I'm not sure I understand why it's necessary, if it is at all.
Do others agree with me that this change would be good, is there some balance involved I'm not thinking about, or is it just an animation issue?
