That actually makes me wonder - Hibernate obviously seems awesome, but is there any virtue to the epic sets with resistance based passives? After-all, they apply to everything, now.

Editted the slotting on TDL's build a little, becuase I am too lazy to go find my old psy/em's build, few major differences
The stealth IO is in sprint, just retoggle it every so often.
Moved some sets around, was way over the HP cap
Took out assault for CP, you will like CP alot, 'specially when you DO get hit by HE
Staminia- You want the +end proc, you will feel it in there and appreciate it more with it in there.

Yeah you don't need Assault on a Blaster (Defiance means you'll be riding a 30-50% damage bonus constantly when attacking, not factoring in extra damage from Aim/BU/reds/external buffs).

I may take the suggestion about CP. Ill see how my end usage is when I get to that point and cross that bridge when I come to it, so to speak.

DR starts hitting damage once you get past 30% or so, you won't be adding more than a few points anyways. CP > Assault, though I don't think I'd take either.

I'd take the snipe, though that assumes you aren't having endurance issues. (Again, it's playstyle preference, though I'll say I used to build Assault into my Blasters until I realized what a waste of endurance it was on that particular AT. Something like a Stalker or Scrapper might make more use of it).

Conserve power is very nice to have. You can pretty much negate a therm with it.

Hmm, that thought has a certain appeal. Conserve power will be the standin for now.

I can't even tell you how many downs ive killed in RV with snipe aswell.
on a side note, true dark lord psy isn't the best because of placate proc go out and pvp and you'll see the other, more obvious reasons.
edit: you must be really stupid if you think psy/em's leave the placate proc in for the league and big 6v6 - 8v8 matches.

There are a lot more than two reasons why Psi is better than Sonic.
* Placate proc (irrelevant in team matches, really, but it's a factor in small team and duel stuff)
* 4 80-foot-base attacks (Sonic has 2 80-foot and a 40-foot)
* Delayed damage due to projectile speed
* Mez in the attack chain
* -Recharge not as widely resisted as -res
Sonic has the advantage of having a relatively quick-animating stun with a good range, as well as a heavy-hitting tier 3, though it's only a 40-foot range.

9% acc and some end redux...defense isnt worthless...tho it is super worthless on a squishy its good on tanks scrapps and a few other tuffies
