Can anyone recommend some really good ones for me? I've played some pretty decent ones bu for the most part they were rather short.

Have you tried out my arc The Golden Age Secret of the Paragon Society yet? The arc ID is 344596 and it sounds like exactly the type of arc you are looking for sure.

"Glory Days" (see my sig for the arc ID) takes the player through one hero's memories of the Pulp, Golden, and Silver Age, with a final mission set in the present. They're all small and medium maps and only the last is a defeat-all.

One of mine, too, 'Shadow of the Red Death' (see ID# below). It's a gritty 30s pulp starring my own Pulp Hero, the Red Death (kinda the Shadow & Batman in one.)

Enemy is the Family, with a few custom bosses. Not too long, I'm afraid.

Thank you very much! I'll be sure to play them and leave comments!

I have two WW2 story arcs, one heroic and one villainous:

Axis and Allies (arc 1379)
Travel back in time to take over the 5th Column, and lead the Axis powers to win WW2 and conquer the World!
(villainous, level 40-44)

The Destroyer of Worlds (arc 352820)
In the closing days of WW2, the War Department asks mystery men to recover secret weapons stolen by the 5th Column from a captured U-boat, to be delivered to a top secret research facility.
(heroic, level 15-25)

Have fun.

@PW - Police Woman (50 AR/dev blaster on Liberty)
TALOS - PW war journal - alternate contact tree using MA story arcs

THEY WERE GREAT! I was off this week so I tried them all out. and I LOVED THEM!!

I wish there was a way to save favorite missions so one can access them at a moment's notice instead of searching/typing.

Two World War II arcs by @Ultimo:
The War in Europe, Arc #256985
Civil War, Arc #351303

They feature his custom heroes and villains, including lots of Nazis, which makes for lotsa fun.

5 mission arc - very long. I suggest bringing teammates. Level restricted so that custom creatures aren't too powerful or too easy to defeat if played by characters within the suggested level ranges.
