Cute, but nothing new. This rendering bug has been around since Issue 2 or 3. It's the same thing that causes capes or layered clothes to disappear in water, smoke, and some shields.

In the midnighter's club, when you are far away from a lady, she will pull up her skirt.
When you're closer, she will put it back down.
