Have Bulletins and Tells Time Stamped

I have always wondered about this one. Occasionally I would have my display window reduced for Tells and Broadcasts when in mish'es or other tasks. When I pull up the window I would sometimes get a Tell when I didn't hear the unique "ding" because of all the major Blasting and Banging I'm doing on the baddies. Not knowing how old the Tell for an invite was, I would send a reply back only to get the "sorry, full up". The same would hold true for Broadcasts. There may be an old Broadcast saying meet in Atlas for Costume Contest. I would have no idea how old that message is. So, this is what I would suggest:

1. First, have some kind of time stamp on each Broadcast, Tell or other messages. For example, someone sends you a Tell "Dark Braven, hey would you like to join a level 50 for some AV mish'es?" (6:32pm PST). You can see I added the time zone PST for Pacific Standard Time if that is the time zone you live in. No military time as it can get too confusing.

2. Second, have the ability to change the sound that Tells or other messages directed at you make. As I mentioned above, sometimes you can miss the "ding" sound when you get a message while in a heated battle. Maybe have something "flash" or "pop-up" on your screen when you get a message in addition to a unique sound. What do you guys think about this?

Yep. It would definitely be a nice option.

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

I've been asking for this for some time now. I'd see a message in one of my chat channels and I'd start debating with myself whether I should try to reply or not, because I don't know if it just came through, or if it's been there for a couple of hours. The ability to include time stamps on channels would be greatly appreciated.

Considering the information is already recorded if you turn on chat logging (the timestamps appear in the log file), it's obviously available. We just need UI support.

I was going to make the same comment myself.

I wouldn't want it added to everycomment in my chattabes myself, so adding as an option would be great.

Options are always good, as long as it's an option and I am not forced to view the time stamp.

Depending on where I'm at and what Global Channel I am chatting in, I may or may not use the variable that also shows my character's name. Some of my character's names can be rather long, add that to the channel name, and what I type often appears on the next line. Looking something like...

Jello Shooters: Angel Red ~Greenwich Mean Mine, 22~: Blah
blah blah.

Personally, I would opt not to see the time stamp in my chat window. Getting it through a click would be nice, but otherwise I'll just search my chat log.

I could be wrong, but I think there's already an option somewhere to put timestamps on chat messages.
