Ok I just bought a brand new hp pavilion dv4t intel premium 4 64 bit with a media accelerator 4500m 3gb hard drive now i am not sure if my comp will run CoH/CoV....
I used to have a mac and played on that having a second hard drive with xp. that one had no problem and i enjoyed playing for a year well after a while my mac broke and to get the backlight fixed would have cost me 1200 dollars.
I have the choice to send this comp back and use the money as credit on another one because as much as i need a comp for school i wanna play Coh/Cov too. Now any computer would work fine for me i just wanna know if this one will.
I have attempted to download and the updater says downloading file manifest with a finishing time of 13 hours now i dont know if my internet is too slow and i should go to a borders and hop on there internet to see if it will work faster there.
The updater looks as if it is progressing but i am not sure. I went to best buy before i did anything and told them my wrong graphics card and they told me thinking i told them the right one that my comp wouldnt be able to handle it.... So can any computer wiz help me out here? Much would be appreciated

This thing? Sounds like you meant the Intel Pentium, and it's no longer Premium. Pentium Hasn't been Intel's top processor for a couple years now. It's their budget model, being used in place of what were the Celeron processors.

You should be able to run City of Heroes atop this laptop even with the Intel Integrated graphics, which is sounds like you got, but it'll just look really bad.

Don't forget je saist that Intel still calls their lower end Core 2 parts Pentium Dual Core. Never give up a trademark unless there's such a stink with it that it's best to bury it. Sadly Intel doesn't feel this way yet with the Pentium or Celeron names yet.
