Bonesmasher is a waste of a power choice. Drops it, grab super jump and switch swift for hurdle. Personally, I'd try to fit some -res procs in there as well. You're going to want acrobatics and at least 1 more -kb IO.

EDIT: Try getting 41 points of kb protection if possible.

since you posted in pvp forum I will assume for pvp - try this one - you want to powerboost comsmic burst to increase the stun, better dmg % and better kb res.

Although, I suppose the usual tactic of a blaster is to Kite correct?

Slightly different way of doing it for PB Cosmic Burst, HP capped and a bit more damage and Regen (If you happen to get into a drawn out 1 v 1, can definitely help)

Holy smokes. That's a huge To Hit buff. O_O

I do plan on doing some 1v1...that added regen looks mighty good. Although the lack of defense kinda bugs me, but it's not a big deal.

Defense is basically pointless on a blaster. Mids doesnt show the actual numbers you get in zone. Lets say you get soft capped ranged def on your blaster. You'll be at about 20% in zone.

And then let's say you hack the game and get to 50000% defense in PvE.

In PvP, you'll still be at 20% lol.

Ahh. Gotcha. Thanks for the advice guys. I've never really PvPed with blasters, I'm usually on Tanks and Scraps. So I figure I'd have at it with a blaster. >.>

Yes, you want to be kiting. You have less HP than a melee AT (except a Stalker) and no self-heals or real resistance to speak of (40% base plus whatever you get from your epic shield sounds nice but it gets DR'd quite a bit and you've got low HP to begin with). Your strength is at range, play it as such. Total Focus is mostly there for a finisher if you happen to be in melee range at that time, and it won't happen often.

Gotcha. Thanks for the advice guys....I'm gonna need a lot of practice. I'm used to usually being in melee range most of the time when I PvP with my tank and scrap. But I figured, I'll give being a range nutzoid a chance...that and the range folks I keep fighting happen to annoy me...so I wanna learn that playstyle.

If you will be regularly teaming with support that will hook you up with + perception go with dual phase but if you do plan to be on your own a lot I'd definitely recommend this. My Alt build on my Psi/Em is with Force/Aid self and it drives me nuts how often I'll lose my target.

That looks solid to me, the only thing that I would do is change out the extra end reduction in acrobatics to a Mircofilament or Jump/End IO in Super jump.

Acro costs goes from .14 to .18 EPS
Super jump goes from .36 EPS to .28 EPS plus you get a good bit more jump speed out of it.

As a matter of preference I like the chance for build up proc in Aim rather than tactics. Its much better suited there for spikes and controlling when you get the burst. However if you are going to be doing a lot of 1 v 1's where you will likely be more constantly attacking its fine in tactics.

33% global acc + tactics + aim and build up should do fine for being able to hit most anything.


Something barely worth mentioning, but the slotting for AIM, the to hit buff gets DR'ed quite a bit anyway, so you could toss in two Adjusted Targeting's (To Hit/Recharge, Recharge/End) and get another 2% damage boost while only giving up 1 second recharge on the power if you want. (Plus its a lot cheaper)
