Toss up between an ATI HD 4850 and an nVidia GTS 250, both with 512MB of memory.

Also, any links to individual cards would be awesome. My understanding is that Sparkle, for as cheap as their cards can be, are often problematic.

Well, if I was buying right now, I'd actually go a little over $130 to the $144 mark and pick up a RadeonHD 5750:

Either this Asus : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121351

Or this Sapphire: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102859

Mostly because they have free shipping right now, and depending on where you live, that might actually be cheaper than buying a $130 card and having it shipped.

If the $130 line is a hardline you can't go over, I'd go for this VisionTek 4850, again, because of Free Shipping : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814129138

That and it's also the only 1gig 4850 Newegg is listing in stock.

I did have a bit of trouble finding a GTS 250 1gig under the $130 mark, and it's from MSI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127445

Also under the $130 mark was this 9800 GT from Gigabyte : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125286

Really though, with the Nvidia cards, you would be paying $13 more before the rebate ($116 vs $129) for cards that aren't quite as good... .which is actually why they have the rebates.

Many thanks. I think I might actually try the ATI option this time around. I've always gone with nVidia, but I've been hearing great things about them lately. And I'm a huge AMD fanboy anyways...
