Anyway, last night went pretty well. I still think someone was laughing when I picked a Sonic Defender, as many of my mitigation powers are made pointless by running on a team with Hammy. AOE Sleep and Cone KB powers are made useless by his AOE immobilize. Liquefy, my Tier 9, is made pointless when tosses out his continuous KB power (mobs have to stay in Liquefy's patch to debuff them as massively as it does). Heh, it was making me laugh rather ruefully last night. At least I now have a ST disorient power that should work no matter what.
We luckily ran into only one PP Elite last night, so it was pretty smooth. We dropped down to three Defenders at the end, and that went very well, though I know my difficulty setting was set lower than Ham's, heh. I'm going to be running with a Huntsman in the next Isos, I think... that way I can do some decent damage and buff the team.

Had to cut out do to getting up at an god awful hour this morning. Will need to check the levels, but thinking we'll be up for a Manticore before next week.
Ran into level 40 PPE's again, but at least they were only +5 instead of +7/8. MUCH more manageable.

For those unfamiliar with the group, Isolators was started shortly after badges were introduced to the game. This was in the dark, dreary times before global chat, global tells, or even coalition chat. Back then, the only way to find a person from the forums was by chance or pre-arranged meeting.
The Isolators project was started so the people who post here in Victory could actually meet and play together, so that you could have some fun with the people you chat with online. Everyone made a new character for this new group. This is an once a week supergroup that plays every 8 pm Wednesdays.
When the vast majority of the group hits 50, we start a new run of the group, switching between CoH and CoV between runs.
You don't have to be an active forum poster to join, through it's encouraged. At the very least, be a member of the community; run missions, join in advertised task forces, etc.
If you're interested in joining up this run, please feel free to post interest here. Everyone is welcome.
