So, when are SFs being fixed?
Why can't I say SF as a general term for SF/TF, but you haughty, stuck-up hero players get to say TF for both. NO! It is the Lady Grey STRIKE FORCE and Imperious Strike Force! :P. And they may never fix it. Shouldn't MA critters be fixed in a week or two? according to what they said right before i16 was released. No news on that either.

as far as i know all known bug on the villains side are almost taken are of like the carnies deafeat all mission, where they spawn on the right side of the wall.
as far as i can tell this thread is an epic fail and point less as there nothing need fixing for villain..... just a few flaws hero side withtoo powerful npc poping up in manticore what i hear :S

SF/TF's aren't broken IMO, with the exception of the MM temp on the BSF. I haven't done the BSF in a while but if the MM used the temp just before the Reichsman gets to 1/2 health he doesn't go "phased".
The only thing I can see *** "broken" is the fact that CoH has 19 TF's were as CoV only has 10 SF's (both numbers include the 2 co-op). Not to mention the fact that CoH has twice as many trials 6 compared to CoV's 3.
SF/TF's are not supposed to "easy". If you put a proper team together instead of just say yes to everyone no SF/TF should be that difficult... Planning ahead and knowing what you need is more important that starting hastily.
So, what in your opinion is so "Broken" about SF's?

We cant see what difference so many pvpers leaving had on subscription rates because the next quarter they stopped releasing them.

Ice mistral still has issues with crystals falling off the carnie map which apparently been around for a long time.
To get 66 Merits Redside I need to do an ITF (26) 3 Respecs (about 50-60ish) while I can knock off a Posi in a shorter amount of time (well, nominallly...if you do a 20 minute ITF and three 15 minute Respecs then Red wins).
The fact I can get a LOTG 7.5 after a few Phalanx TF runs...yeah.
Mind you, I can work the Market redside well but more tedious stuff please if it means higher rewards.

Base Raiding: Okay. Lets be honest. PvP in City of Heroes is like the Titanic. It already sailed and sunk. The noisy bunch of PvPer's that left after the I13 changes didn't do a thing to the subscription rates... which shows just how small a group they were to begin with. Most supergroups couldn't get over the prestige cost of their bases either. It was only practical for the really huge super-groups with maxed numbers of members active to base-raid since they were the only ones who could really afford having their SG base destroyed... and they were far and few between. |
Not to point you out but i see this thought often when base raids are brought up.
I was an avid base raider when they were still active and all items in your base that were destroyed were only destroyed during the raid, as soon as the raid is over everything was back to normal. You dont have to spend prestige to fix things because everything reset after the match ended.

Blueside = Dumb! Oh look, I got a mission I am in P.I., what they want me to go to F'ng Perez Park? Le Sigh...ok thats done, oh crap now I gotta go back to P.I. talk to the contact. Ok Mr. Contact, now what? Boomtown? Boomtown?!?! This goes on and on and on...
Redside: Equals sexytime all the time!
Not to mention, I like Redside Classes more then Blue(though I still enjoy Controllers quite a bit). Yes, These days if you have everything, you can Pocket D Port, Oro Port, Base Port, Mission Port, to said places. Still damn annoying Im more of a marathon runner then actual game player on Blueside. I do not like Radio Missions, I was never a fan of Paper missions, I find them handy "IF" I run out of a contact, but for most part I enjoy the story arcs.
I like the dark, grim, & apocalyptic look of Redside in some of the zones, while other zones are very industrial looking, with darker side to em, I enjoy that.
What Blueside mostly players dont seem to understand is, why folks like me exist, to them it baffles there mind, how could anyone prefer Redside over blueside, ZOMG! Since they do not like it, that must mean no one else must like it.
