physically moved my coh drive to new pc

i got a new pc built finally, and i just phydically moved the drive which contains my coh folder to it. will i be able to play it from here o the new rig, or will i ne to do a fresh install?

I guess not. I started the updatder, and when it told me it was going to install I directed it to the folder its already in. It checksummed for 5 mins, and then it started 'foxing'. its now fixing piggsbinbin with 10:30:30 to go

Ah well. At least Ill be able to plsy it tomorrow

my mistake. i didnt dirext it to the correct folder. it started to sintall anew. i stopped the install and deleted all the stuff it had already starteted to duplicate, but now i cant get it to start the install process againm and askl my for a folder.

No offense, but wouldn't it have made more sense to back up everything you wanted to keep or didn't want to download again, and just reinstall everything, OS included?

Not exactly ideal, but hey, nice squeaky clean system and majorly reduced likelihood of something throwing a hissy fit over the new kit and collapsing in on itself.

I did actually clean the dwapped HD of anything non-essential, its basically just got CHOh and a few gigs of photos on it. I just wanted to acoid a 7gig dl if I could

EDIT: The rest of the new rig is completely new. All its got is a new install of CP and drivers for my gfx xardm and my internet onnection

HAvent even set up my gaming keyboard yet, hence the dogy typing. this old keyboads got half its keys blank from overuse lol
