Unusually bad lag on the ITF
I think it also has something to do with the sound effects and extra animation that are included with the Cimerorans that other enemy groups don't have. Hitting large groups of them with AoEs, especially an Engery Blaster's Nova, seems to cause the issue even worse when they get knocked around.
Also, the pathing errors on that particular map are well known. You can often see patrols and ambushes get hung up on shrubs and behind that archway. Running that same mission with the same team can yield different results if the ambushes and patrols are coming or going in different directions or to different locations.
It may be all your AoEs, or you were just unlucky.. but probably a combination of both.
Yeah we saw it in quite a few more spots than on lag hill. It even happened several times in the crystal mission and quite a bit in the last mision.
There could be multiple reasons for it. It happened more with this team then with any other team I've run the ITF with.
I dare you to run it with 7 NRG blasters (and one tank to round them up). lol
I ran an all shield and 1 kin ITF earlier today and there was an unusually high amount of lag for 5 confirmed (myself and 4 other SG mates in Vent).
Someone had told me that the reason why the TF lags at certain spots is because of Grant cover and all of the calculating / recalculating it does.
So when there's a large number of Romans herded up that's where we see the worst of it. Apparently they all have Grant Cover.
I don't know if it's true or not but I thought it was interesting that with 7 shields on the team there was lag in a lot more spots than just on lag hill.
It'd be nice to see a fix for this Soon(tm).
