I happen to enjoy soloing, but when I feel like teaming I have ZERO problem finding one, on Pinnacle no less, one of the emptiest servers in the game. Usually within 5 minutes or so of looking.
Why is that? Because people have found me to be enjoyable to have on teams, and are willing to team with me again. Whereas in your case, if you approach teaming the same way you approach forum posting, I suspect you have found your way to a lot of people's one-starred rating or /gignore lists.
If you are a jerk on teams, people remember it. They'll obtain your global name, and then avoid you in the future.
There are a number of testimonials from people here who have also told you they have no problem finding teams. I really do think your problem finding teams is of your own making.
Oh and by the way, HELL FRIGGING NO on a server merge. I LIKE playing on my low population server. The people like you tend to stay away from it, which makes my play experience that much better.
Add to that the fact that I play on a laptop and my system can't handle the activity on Freedom or Virtue without lagging me into oblivion. I'm sure you've seen how unpopular an idea this is just from the responses in this thread.
Your demand of "fix it devs, fix it now" is just selfish, plain and simple. Screw the people that a server merge would cause problems for, YOU want it, and you are so much more important than anyone else they HAVE to bend to your wishes.
Please, take your self-entitled ego trip somewhere else, where it might actually impress someone. It is not doing so here, in fact it's downright childish.
The community for the most part is friendly and welcoming of new players, very much less so of players who come in like you have and tell us we're all wrong, just because YOU don't agree. I know...it's shocking to discover that your posturing and ranting doesn't make you look cool...isn't it?
If you choose to leave, remember one thing please...the fewer players like YOU this game has, the better off it will be. We will not miss you, that I can promise.
Edit: Actually, I don't think this is City_Life. My reason for asserting this? I understood it the first time I read it. Also, ironically enough, in only 6 posts he has become the first person I have seen yet with TWO red dots.

Last night, 3AM mountain timezone, I found enough players on Justice Server to run a Barracuda SF. So that's a less populous server, very small level range, Villain side, far from peak time.
I see two key contributors to the OPs problem.
First, ignore lists. Even on Freedom server, a notorious haven of unmedicated sociopaths and incoherent trolls who insist on putting the English language in a pit in their basement and telling it what to do with the lotion, the OP would stand out as an exceptionally difficult individual to communicate with.
Second, Freedom server. Every other server seems to be maintaining the status quo if not picking up numbers, but Freedom has definitely seen a decline in popularity since I16. Virtue was always a close second and occasional first, but Virtue has held onto first consistently since I16 went live. Based on the OP's complaints we know he was fond of one of the specific exploits removed in this issue, which gives some indication of the type of player who he likely teamed up with. And that's the specific sort of player that the developers just came down pretty hard on. AE exploiting was going on on all servers, but Freedom was definitely seeing a lot more of it. It's no wonder he can't find anyone to play with, if all his AE exploiting friends are fleeing for the hills, and everyone else reacts to his nonsense the way most of us have.

Now you obviously you know how to use these forums so go over to the Freedom section and look at some of the events that are planned. If you can't find anything there then you are a lost cause and no one will be able to help you. Inside of the this thread alone are ways to find teams in your level range and above. You may have to work to level like most of us did, however you may even find some people that you enjoy playing with and they fee the same way about you.
My biggest suggestion would be to try really hard to make coherent posts that everyone can understand. I personally like teaming with new people even though I have a group that I play with on a regular schedule.
I won't team with people who can't express their thoughts coherently in written form.
It's a terrible failing on my part, I know, but I've found it impossible to dismiss the high level of correlation between people who ask "Would you like to join level 35+ in Brickstown?" and an enjoyable PUG, and those who begin with "wana tem?"
Some days I just wake up cranky. Today might be one of those days...

September is usually a slower time for MMO's anyway, due to things like students and teachers returning to school, etcetera. Other games launching recently will hit numbers a bit as people flock to the new shiny. i've been following some of those other games a bit, and i expect we'll be seeing returns well before Going Rogue even becomes a significant factor.

It's not just about finding the busiest server, but about finding servers with people who are on at the same time you are. That may not be the same thing as "most populated server."
There are servers with global chat channels for people who play in the off hours. I know we have one on my server. I'd include the channel name, but frankly, I don't want the OP on my server.

If extremely late at night is the only time you can play, then yeah that sucks. But it's not a fault of the game, the servers, or the playerbase that your personal schedule puts your playtime during what is largely considered "off hours" by everyone else.
