SSK and mission drop
But that's not what dropping missions is for.
Also, you could ask for the star.
Issue 16 made me feel like this.
Warning: This poster likes to play Devil's Advocate.

It's not against its design. Mission dropping is given with *very* few restrictions - it can't be timed, or a badge mission, or part of a TF/SF (or give "above average rewards") and only one can be dropped every three days. That's pretty much it. (Barring one or two missions - for whatever reason, the Rescue Lady Jane mission is now undroppable, and I know I've dropped that irritating one in the past.)
With AE, we have *multiple* dev commentaries about, and actions reinforcing, what they did not mean it to be used for (farming, PLing, etc.) Show me something similar for mission dropping to back up your statement.
(edit) I'll also point out that when the mission drop feature was added, it was once every 7 days. That was reduced, at request, to one every three days. I highly doubt there are so many missions out there that are not able to be completed that this reduction in timeframe was required. And we know they datamine dropped missions and know full well "Oh, so-and-so dropped a really grey mission of theirs." The dev team is not ignorant of this, and if they felt it was abusive or otherwise problematical, they'd have said something in the last three years and a month we've had it (introduced in a patch, 09/20/2006, per the wiki's collection of patch notes.)
Or, I could just be allowed to drop the mission without messing around with the team's current makeup. Prior to SSKing, I could just drop the mission without *having* to ask for the star - or having to leave the team for a moment, or anything else. It was just *boom,* done.
This ability has been lost with SSKing. Thus my request for it to be reinstated in this way.

Situation:
No matter what the level you're actually at in relation to the team, everyone but the team leader is SK'd under the new "SSK" system.
I check my mission list, notice I have a mission that's much lower than my others - as well as the level of anyone else on the team. It's not timed, it's not a badge mission, honestly not that interesting of a mission. I want to drop it and get something more current the team might want to run.
Result?
"You cannot drop a mission while sidekicked/lackeyed."
Request:
Remove this prohibition from the game, now that we have no *option* but to be SK'd/exemped. (Well, other than dropping team or soloing.)
It's a minor irritation - but it's going to be MUCH more common now.
