Fellow forumite Mateo however has been making some pretty cool ones each month though, take a look here, they're pretty snazzy.

Yea I miss them too, they list events. That's how I discovered a double XP weekend in advance so I could schedule some time off at work.

Yes, Keep an eye on my signature or subscribe to that thread for current calendars. I always make them a month in advance.
Sorry I don't have any official Double XP, Rikti invasion, or Halloween/Winter/Valentines event news listed on them though. I made them so I can plan out my weekly TF groups and such... and just to keep changing my desktop wallpaper. If I had any inside information, I'd certainly add that as well. (pokes Mods) lol
By the way, for larger resolutions, they are not designed to be fullscreen wallpaper, but to use the "Centered" option and then you can select a color of your choice for the border... otherwise it may stretch the calender depending on your aspect ratio.

I haven't seen any new threads on this topic since June and no response to the existing threads by anyone who can give us an answer so this is my attempt to get some kind of official word.
I understand the previously mentioned reasons for not announcing Invasion or Double XP events (if we even have Double XP anymore though we've had a couple events since Patrol XP came out). However, the regular holiday events would be nice to schedule for.
With 3 teen boys who spend time with their father, it's nice to be able to plan out the time that they can participate in the events. Just one of the many reasons why it would be great to have the calendar wallpapers updated. Plus, it looks highly unprofessional to have such outdated material on the site. Removal or updating seem like the best options to make a better impression on new or returning users, especially with the new super hero genre games coming out. I know there are a lot priorities right now what with i16 and Going Rogue still pending, but web site maintenance is important too.
So here's another vote for new calendar wall papers!
