As far as soft-capping goes, two sets of Blessing of the Zephyr will get you ver the soft cap for ranged/aoe. As for melee, you could 6-slot a Mako's set or Obliteration for somewhere in the neighborhodd of 3% defense each. If you're running all toggles/autos/CJ + Weave, then Those four sets will have you over the soft-cap by a noticeable margin. Once you're soft-capped, it's just a matter of killing (or in Spines case, AoE'ing) everything like a madman.

So I have a lvl 50 Spines/SR scrap but I'm not too sure what sets I should put into him in order for him to be able to take on mobs by himself without hitting elude. Any help would be much appreciated.
