She's more of "needlessly violent" than pure evil (and likes to cook). If possible, I like to see something fast food related with a more whimsical nature and a big gun but I trust you with whatever the final image will be.

Sorry to say this Zamuel, but those are terrible reference shots!
In the middle one, if my screen was set a little darker, all I'd see would be the burger and the trousers!
With such a dark character, you need to put a little more effort into it, make sure you get a lighter background.

I for instance go into one of my bases that has a light background, I make sure that the light falls on the side that I want to show off, then rotate the character and my camera to get the new angle with the lighting on it.

Why not in thread, Cashoo-lady? tis pretty! Would have missed it altogether had I not been randomly wandering deviantart today.

Also thankies much for doing it! ^.^
Haha, I didn't post it because I found it boring. Also, when I finished it, I found out the character was happy and outgoing, and I somehow initially came to the conclusion that she was a more serious-type of person.

Actually, they're fine. The character isn't all that detailed so I can easily know what she's wearing.
But...I think it may be just because my Mac monitor is lighter/brighter than most other monitors.

Can't say I agree with ya on the boring thing.

As for the rest, she is generally, yes, but she has a serious side too and that reflects it pretty durn' well. Aaaaactually, it looks almost identical to my mental image of an older, possible-future Jane that I've only really told one person about - and I'm fairly sure it wasn't you. Uncanny!

Character references! Artz! Whatnot!

I guess that's that, then.
The pictures are fine and my screen is just dark

still think that using a light background would make the character stand out more, though..

I've been poking in and out of this thread (and added Cashoo to my dA watch list immediately) and I just want to say that I LOVE your use of color....

No, you're right. Those screens are dark and difficult to make out anything in. The costume is just simple and people are being nice.

For anyone who doesn't know, the best way to take reference pictures is to go into the tailor screen and hit print screen. Your screenshot will not be turned into a jpeg and stored in the screenshots folder, but it will be copied to the clipboard. Paste that picture via ctrl-V into an image program and you can save it that way. If you want to get fancy, you can then do turnarounds like this:

I use a similar process for the reference sheets I make.

Actually, I'll throw in my refs for Neurotika

Like I mentioned above, I've just been bopping in and out of the thread to see the amazing work, so I don't know if you're still doing the request thing, but that's my lovely lady! The only important parts of her outfit are the hair, receivers, chains, and vacant facial expression. Otherwise I play dress-up with her a lot, so you can too if you want =)

Very good point. Also if you don't like the arrows and colors showing up when you do this, hit the Save Costume button and then do the above. you will have to exit back to turn, zoom etc but you will have a cleaner image.
