They mess real well, shield charge gives MA the extra aoe it could use and MA has some nice ST damage to take down anyone. Once you io out shield it becomes a monster.
I've tried MA/SD, but the end drain was too high. If I could get past it, I would willingly try it again.

I've leveled a MA/Shield to 50 and I have to admit I did have endurance issues along the way but it was nothing overwhelming. It's a very fun combo to play. I also like MA alot. I have 3 of them (Regen, SR, Shields), and I'm considering a 4th on a Stalker depending on whether or not the new AS animation will look cool.
I have a Martial Arts/Regeneration Scrapper at Lv50. And I also have this weird rule about refusing to repeat power sets. But I've realized I really love MA/*. A lot. So its time to give it another try. I whipped up an MA/Shields and played it for a few minutes and enjoyed it, but not sure how well the sets are going to mesh in the long run.
I'm hoping they fit together decently well and that my play experience differs from the MA/Regen Figured I should ask here before investing much time in the character.
