How exactly do 21 days equate to a month and a half? 
I agree with the suggestion, just a little confused at the maths involved...
The way I think Day Jobs work right now is: the DB sees how long you've been logged off and then sees where you have just logged in. If that coincides with a Day Job location, the time is added to the relevant badge. If not, it's wasted. That would have to be rewritten for this suggestion to work.

I'm plenty happy with the time required to earn the badges and the charges (and much happier since it became charges, as opposed to those which only worked for a time - WW teleport being the first that springs to mind) but I would really like an easier way to move toons about between day job locations. I've too many alts that I can only ever bare to take the time to move one or two every week or so...if that. How about a "temp" Day Job, which earned you a teleport to a Day Job location?

The current system for Day Job accolades is pretty bad. First, you have to log off for a month and a half in specific places, then log back in and then log back off AGAIN after you've earned the necessary badge to earn charges for the Day Job powers. If the devs are going to continue to stand by this awful Day Job system, can we at least get full charges on the Day Job Accolades like Revive Ally and Fragmentation Grenade when we earn them before we have to spend more time logged out to earn the charges?
Issue 16 made me feel like this.
