This is happening more and more often...

Isnt it up to us the veterans of the game to take these new players and show them the wonderfull world of paragon city and beyond?

A lot of us moan about this [i myself am guilty of this] but instead of moaning we should instead be making threads of how to combat this new enemy and turn it into our allies.

* Start blind inviting people at low level into PUGs/SGs - Everybody i know started off being blind invited and everything and even though its rude . . . . . its also the best way to get people to mix with others they dont know.

* Start running some form of actual AE mission team - With the new search engine it should be easy to find a half decent arc for a team to run through. Just by typing in "bank" into the search gets you quite a few good missions with lots of chaos [remember, pugs LOVE controlled chaos].

* Start making new competitions - If on our far less populated EU servers we are able to organise random competitions that gets players into unusual zones then you US guys should have zero problem with it. Start a swimming race from PI ferry entrance to top of monster island [level ones only]. A new player will see them and will WANT to find out what they are exactly.

* Get out of your comfort zone, whether it be teaming with friends/doing the same usual stuff etc, and start accepting teams doing things that you usually wouldnt do. Dont usually do the hollows until after kings row? Skip kings row all together with your team and do hollows the "traditional" way!

* Do some of the actual zone mini events [like steel canyons fires]. A lot of new players dont know anything about them, broadcasting about it [in a much more exagerated way like "OMG THERES A FIRE IN STEEL CANYON!!! HERO TEAM FORMING TO COMBAT IT!!!"] WILL get players asking about it.
