Why don't Allies fight?

I have set up missions and tried several times to add allies.. But they don't help fight after you rescue them? All they do is stand around. There is no difference at all between "add an ally" and "free a captive"

Why won't they help fight?

Check the Ally settings. You have to set an Ally to "Follow", and either "Fight Aggressive" or "Fight Defensive", not sure about the exact terms, but the settings are available and Allies do help fight.


I believe that a Kheldian Gold Standard should be based on SO's, and for anything above that... there's Platinum!

Also, is it just a quirk in my custom critters, but are they supposed to have terrible accuracy? I had two LT-level ally CC's following me around & they couldn't hit +1 mobs (presuming that the enemy critters con the same to the allies as they do to me). What governs the To-Hit and Acc of an ally or custom critter?

That's a great question which I'm sure no player has any answer to. If you want to maximize the chance an Ally could hit enemies, I suggest trying to select power-set combinations that allow ToHit buffs or Defense debuffs. Check out if you can create an Earth Control/Radiation blast ally and see how well that one does.
