How to get my graphics & resolution settings to ALL of my characters?

I got a new laptop and finally got the settings right for one of my characters. I clicked "Apply All".

But when I log in as another character I have to change the settings for them and"Apply", but I always have to log out then back in for the settings to take place. And sometimes they dont apply.

How can I make the screen resolution settings for my 1 good toon apply to ALL my toons?

I'm not quite sure what you mean here because resolution is a game wide setting and does not vary between characters.

Do you mean your placement of windows in the screen like your enhancement and chat windows?

Or are you making the mistake of entering the game in safe mode each time which always sets the resolution to the lowest setting?

I think he means that his settings are just not sticking.

Like Mandu said, those particular settings are on the client, not on your character, so it's just a matter of getting them to stay. That option window is a little buggy for some people though. Once you click apply, DO NOT close the window, and simply log out. That sometimes forces it to stick. Or you can try using Tweak CoH to set the options instead.

The window (map, target, chat, powers) position and sizes are saved on each character though, so those you would have to save your preference using a /wdwsave, then load it onto a character with /wdwload. Chat tabs can be set with /chatsave and /chatload. All other options that have nothing to do with graphics can be set with /optionsave and /optionload.
