AE Mission Editor Crashing

I've had the same problem (and have a live query with support on it), but I've seen a couple of posts about it on the US fora. I'm not going to paraphrase it for fear of misinformation.

Fixed by removing mission files, one of them was corrupt it seems
Ok I was wrong every time I come out of the editor and go back to it, I crash

Thanks for your help anyway, I have submitted a bug report but this is really annoying, worked hard on a story only to find I cannot access it.
Please if anyone else knows a way to fix this help
I had the same problem which also occurred in the original beta for mission architect. My solution that worked both times.
1.Copy mission files to a new folder somewhere else on your disk
2.Delete the entire Missions folder in the COH directory
3. Enter the game and you should be able to go into My Creations which shows as empty.
4. Re-create each of your missions with just a title and save them.
5. Exit the game.
6. For each mission open the new mission file (in the new COH/Missions folder) and the old mission file in Wordpad.
7. Select and delete all the text in the new file.
8. Cut and paste all the text from the old file into the new one and save the new one (note I found that this time with Vista I had to give my user write privileges for the files).
9. Go back into the game and you should be able to access My Creations with all the missions visible.
Also note that this time round on doing this all my mission files were 10-20% smaller, despite everything being there.

I was using the AE mission editor to create my own story arc and decided to use some tickets to purchase additional maps. However now each time I attempt to continue with my saved missions the game freezes and crashes.
It lets me click the create new mission button but the moment I click "MY CREATIONS" it crashes. This only began to occur after purchasing several maps.
