heya, i assume that before you launch the game you can see the mouse cursor as normal on your desktop/screen?
yeah it is normal on my desktop. that is what has confused me.
try this, hope it works. add this to the end of your shortcuts command line
-compatiblecursors 1
eg...
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -compatiblecursors 1
the mouse cursor will look awful, its a blocky black and white cursor, i've tried it, but it should hopefully be visible. fingers crossed for you. let me know if not (or if it works!).
yeah it worked but i have been fiddling with my files now.
you see i bought the game through steam and i have now made a new shortcut going directly too the updater and it is there now. but when i run it through steam still nothing. so i will just not run it through steam and i get the normal beautiful curser. thanks for your help and why would this happen i wonder. and no obvious answers like "steam sucks" or anything like that.

I go too log on and i see no mouse curser so i think ok just might be off screen so i log on as normal, still no mouse curser so i manage to finally click on my toon, i then get in game and i still have no mouse curser. luckily i know my way around my keyboard can anyone help??
