Thug/Storm

Hello. Since the union hamsterwheel broke down earlier i decide to have a look on defiant and found a lowbie thug/storm. I see alot of potential in it(my 50 ill/storm is my favorite toon atm) but i´ll start with a levelling build and see if i like it.

how would something like this do? skipped snowstorm because of bad experiences of it on my troller and lightning clap is [censored] unless i use it as a purple mule later. sure could stack it with thunderstrike but opted for immob+tornado

skipped snowstorm

[/ QUOTE ]I'd drop Dual Wield and grab Snow Storm anyway, and try to adjust it to my playstyle, if I were you. Gun attacks stop being useful as early as before the 20s, Snow Storm doesn't stop being useful.

lightning clap is [censored]

[/ QUOTE ]Well, they're changing the Bruiser's Hand Clap from Knockback to Knockdown, which means you could stack AoE stun with him if you so wanted. Which would also be more attractive than Thunder Strike, which only stuns the primary target from my experience on my Brute.

Of course, your mileage per power may vary, and MMs are flexible to play.

Also, on a /Storm, I'd try to squeeze Hasten in so you can have multiple Lightning Storms out. Some people with set bonuses and the like even run around with as many as a consistent 3 Lightning Storms out, which is brutal.

As i said dont have any good experiences with snowstorm.

I know about multiple lightning clouds but then assault would have to go and i dunno which is more beneficial to me

Honestly, Assault is nowhere near as necessary on MMs as some people think. Since a MM deals damage just like any other toon, only split out between seperate entities, the damage buff isn't really any greater for the MM as a whole than it would be to an individual toon. It does stack nicely with the inherent though. Anyway, it also lets you spam the -other- fun powers in /Storm faster. Doesn't make the set less endurance-hungry, I admit, but it works real well with it anyway. And this is coming from the guy who usually says Hasten is overrated.

Tactics, on the other hand, protects against Confuse. I shouldn't need to say any more about this. And any ToHit for your -2 conning tier 1 pets is great.

I'm just speaking personal opinion here, you realize - but I'm assuming that's what you posted this for. Multiple Lightning Storms are stupidly fun and powerful.

trust me my ill/storm has over 50 global recharge and i´m not doen slotting it(looking at 108,5% when done). I know how much fun multi lightning storms is. Just wanted to know if assault was worth it on mm´s
