Tommy Guns

Tommy Guns as a skin for Assault Rifles.

Don't know how to fit the Shotgun and sniper animation to it though unless you could pull up another rifle when using that power(which brings us to trench coats...where are they?).

Any ideas/suggestions on how to solve the shotgun/sniper problem without making the guns look like the old Assault Rifles?

Already in-game. You need the Untouchable badge. Good place to farm it is the docks in Striga Isle.

On the subject of new AR models, well, there's always the issues of what looks ridiculous and what doesn't. Some already existing examples are already pushing it, such as firing grenades or jets of flame from the tommygun or sniper rifle.

There was a shotgun model in a beta or something at one point, but it got pulled after BAB saw someone using Full Auto with it.

I was thinking less Neo and more the Untouchables or something like that. Would work well with the civilian costume some players have.

To be fair, they are kinda wierd for trench coats. Not actual military style trenchcoats. having something like that would be cool.

And, speaking of the Tommy Gun, why is that badge so damned hard to get in CoV?

You do? I didn't know that, only looked up the 3 month rewards and saw some coats taken directly from the matrix. But if what you're saying is the truth then what doesn't this game have? It must be the best game in the world! I can't believe not everyone is playing this game?!

If you want a full, wrap around coat, then no, there are none.

As with robes, long coats (and long skirts, I guess) are no supported by the current player models. Long skirts would probably be doable, but coats and robes need the ability to do full-body overlays which the 'component-based' CoX PC model doesn't currently support.

You do see robes on NPCs, but NPCs are single, monolothic models, not sectioned models.

Well I am available whenever you want to do that. As that badge keeps eluding me. Trying to solo them is a thing i have given up on. Not much fun spending an hour hunting them and all you get is one or two! I think on CoV they should switch the tommygun reward to Gangbuster instead.
