Concerning the question whether you are mad: Probably yes. 
But other than that Energy/Kin is well doable. I would advise you to take Hover and turn knockback to knockdown by raining attacks from above.
Oh, and I wouldn't be too worried about perma-Hasten. With the +Recharge of Force Feedback in every attack you should probably ask yourself if you could perma-double-stack Hasten...

If you hover and attack does it really turn it into knockdown i tried it once and it was so not like that :P What other tips are there for knockback because i must have this build :P Is Villain energy red?
Also is it too much effort to hover above them since office maps tend to have low ceilings lol
Villain energy blasts for corrupters is still blue im afraid. Only Doms get red ones. Knockback becomes knockdown if you attack from directly above (you knock the enemy back into the ground :P) a technique favoured by nova-form khelds.

up to lvl 19. The knock back is a [censored] for brutes. However find a friendly wall and say your placeing the the mob there and if you want your heals mr brute thats where they will be
seriously the reason I went for this build is siphon speed fulcrum shift nova wwwwwwipe out
Oh and that snipe mmmmmm mouth watering.
I'm realy looking farward to taking it for a spin in PvP will proably die a fair bit till I work out the best way to play it in PvP but who knows might surprise a few plp

I got an En/Kin at 50. It's good fun. The AOEs in Corruptor Energy Blasts aren't all that at all IMO, so mine is single target built so also I only KB single targets if I KB anything.
Fulcrum, Nova, Transference is WIN .
PvP wise, seems great one on one and very nice indeed against melee characters which you can just stand toe to toe with.
Kin's tricky with a targetted heal and it seems easy to get into trouble if you get jumped. And OFC if you miss it, or bounce out of it's field of effect then that's normally defeat time.
I took Black Scorpion on mine, for the Mace for a lot of -movement and -recharge. It plays nicely in RV.
Team wise it seems very much a buff bot keeping everyone ID'd etc. I think I did that mostly and made a pain in the [censored] of myself webbing, siphoning and spamming transference as harrasment.
Energy/Kin Corruptor Imagine the amount of Recharge i could stack force feedback in every power it isnt exactly expensive. Im Sure i could Perma hasten and just be proper uber :P Only problem is that they dont exactly mesh well together but then again i think i can work around these things
