Rad/Traps...skip the Atomic Blast?
Never had a corruptor nuke but the lower damage than a blaster makes me think its likely to be pants. Unless all the enemies are in scourge range of course. To the test server?

I love corruptors' nukes combined with buffing/debuffing powersets. A fulcrum-shifted Dreadful Wail is just beautiful and Tar Patch followed by Ice Storm and Blizzard is also a reliable way to tear a large hole into enemy formations. However, with rad/traps I see no such must-have combination for the nuke, so it's a coin toss.
If you generally like the thought of dishing out huge AoE damage at the cost of your endurance bar it's definitely worth a try. Just don't expect to see everything fall around you unless you team with someone who can buff your damage or debuff the pants off the enemies' resistance.

If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
Best you could hope for solo is the mob stuck in the poison trap, getting some proc dmg applied then unleashing an aim and soul drained atomic blast.
I wouldn't take it at 32 but I'd try to work it in at 41+ depending on patron choice, mostly for giggles (3 slot for dmg at most)
rad/traps is the bomb
My Radiation/Traps Corrupter is nearing the 30's and I've been plotting out my Build. Turns out, I sort of want to skip my level 32 Atomic Blast. Sure, I understand with Traps already out and no toggles the complete endurance drain isn't as bad as all that, but I was just sort of wondering if anyone out there swears by the Atomic Nuke/Hold that lurks as the final power in Radiation Blast.
I've skipped decent powers before for the sake of theme before but since my theme is really to lay down traps and then spam AOE & Cosmic Burst like a fiend...the idea of the Nova is at least a little seductive. But I keep reading how Nukes bite donkey here and there....well, am I crazy for wanting to skip it?
Just asking for anyone with an opinion.
