Trying to draw 2 characters
Very nice.
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
That is REALLY good...
I especially like the one at the bottom of the pic. She's preeeetty.
Yay, new soulasylum piece I've been wondering when I'd get to see another one
And yet again, very atmospheric, beautiful and filled with emotion. /clap The way the women are touching each others, and especially the expression on the non-horned one's face and the contrasted lighting coupled with the yellow/orange/black color scheme all work together really well to create the mood of the piece.
The version 2 is IMO _hugely_ better than version 1.
I really, really love your work. When I'm daydreaming, I can believe to be as good as Swissy one day, but this style of art, I don't know if I have it in me, and I do wish I did.
Blackdove
>>Favorie des Muses.
It's the Creative Genius title from the French boards. SoulAsylum is my Mai 2006 conterpart
Great piece, as per usual, Souly ^^
I'm curious. How did you do it? I never achieve that kind of quality. I'd like to figure out how you got such a nice smooth feel...
My guess is Poser, then Shopped... But I'm just speculating

Nice title
(I am never checking the french boards and rarely look at people titles so never noticed )
The second picture looks far better to me.
The lighting gives a golden tone to the skin of the standing figure, instead of yellow.
It, however, make the standing figure face looking smoother (eyes, bottom half of the face) so a bit less detailed.
wow, thanks for all the reviews I greatly appreciate it

Question is... how is it drawn, what software?
[/ QUOTE ]
You guess right, Swissy, I use now Poser to have the "pose" of the 2 characters^^ then I use 3DS max for the 3D details and then Photoshop with my (tablette graphique ? don't know how to traduce^^) to recolorize the 2
here are the 2 pics I made first in Poser source01 et source02 It seems a lot more easier to do, isn't it ? Now you can all throw me rotten tomatoes
(Oh and I love my title "Favorie des muses", but it's been a looooong time ago )
Uh Graphics Tablet
Very nice, meant to comment on this and got sidetracked. I like it, especially the second one as the lighting helps group the two people together, rather than clashing as they do int he first picture
It's not running away. It's advancing in reverse!

Ah yes^^ And for the lightning, it's a plugin of After Effects called "Shine", used in a lot of fantasy movies and really easy to use
For basic drawing at low cost, I recommend either The GIMP2, or I'm finding Paint.NET really, really handy. The first one is open source, the second is as well and all you need is the latest version of the .NET Framework.

wow. all those programmes.. pencil and paper is starting to sound so much cheaper.

Pencil and paper is the only true way.
Not evident... I was nearly going crazy with "where to place them ? How to place them ? What are they doing ?..."
And here it goes :
Monte Cristo - Voice of Anubis (version 1)
Monte Cristo - Voice of Anubis (version 2)
Oh and yes, I know that they're both women, I have eyes and I created them so I know what they look like
