I don't think the pvp immunity comes into it that much to be honest. If I hold someone for that lenght of time, then they are usually already dead. Even if they don't die and the immunity comes into effect, then they already have so many debuffs on them that all they can do is struggle and run very, very slow.

Now comes the big factor in hold in PVP , its called break free , what does break free do beside breaking the hold.

It raises the MAG of the one who popped break free , so again in essence you are going to use the same strategy as fighting a tanker or scrapper mezz protection.
Speed in that essence is important to again overpower the breakfree , yes if you can hold a oppenent that long with the oppenent just doing nothing , sure its same as saying if somebody stand still for a stalker to AS + follow up attack .

Now that conclude all i have to say in hold area department, if immunity didn“t kick in while fighting a controller 1 vs 1 while using break free , then expect another hold nerf coming.

No point having all the recharge in the world if the holds don't last long enough to stack them.

Anyways, as shown earlier the best is 2/2/2 - which is as I suspected all along.

Well, I suppose the best would be 2/3/3 really which I might get soon I hope. But I'll just stick with my 2/3/2 for the moment.

Most fascinating numbers, you mean 0/3/3 or 1/3/2 ?

My personal opinion: Hold durations and recharges vary, so something that works for someone might not automatically work for someone else.. Although I am proponent of 2/2/2 slotting myself.. for pvp that is.

Recharge: 5.13 seconds
Duration: 15.59 seconds
Accuracy: Enhanced 94%.

Able to stack 3.03 times.

This is what I have in my hold. Now all they need to do is make a recharge/range hami-O and I'll be 3/3/3/3, able to stack holds from miles away.

3 acc/mez HO, 2 recharge, 1 end is pretty good slotting.

1) Slotting holds depends on AT.

Trollers and Doms have high duration hold, so they can use recharge for stacking. Other ATs can only really stack unless they have more than 1 hold.

Slotting for controllers

There are generally 3 ways people slot single target holds:
2 acc / 3 hold / 1 recharge
Good for PvE
2 acc / 2 hold / 2 recharge
Most efficient
2 acc / 1 hold / 3 recharge
Fastest stacking

The thing is you in PvP you need to stack as many holds as posible cause they each carry mag.
Over long time of stacking 231 is the same as 213, however for the higher end cost 213 will get you there much faster and it will therefor force the use of a break free sooner.

2/2/2 is a split between them that has alot going for it cause of ED.

Slotting for everyone else in PvP

2 acc and what ever you have spare into hold duration and end. The OT was correct in his slotting IMO, but could prolly loose a hold dur if he needs the slot elsewhere.

Just made some calculations, seems that 2 hold, 2 acc and 2 rechg is the zen of stacking. Having 3 hold, 2 acc and 1 rechg is as good in stacking as 3 rechg, 2 acc, 1 hold (the amount of holds in maximum)

Having 2 holds, 2 acc and 2 rechg allows you to do the most stacking, not as fast as 3 rechg, but keeps the mob easier on perma.
