anyone got some experience with this set know whether the resists are worth getting?
found the sets def good so far but not sure on its two resist powers.

Don't bother with them - I got the first on mine, and it makes no difference in survivability to my friends equal level who doesn't.
Just slot your shields accordingly, and pick up Tough if you really feel a little squishy (which I don't think you will), or carry a couple of purples.
