Xialynia
image links don't work on these forums, need to do a normal link.
Thanks, i just noticed , the link works now ^^
	73x75 pixels?
A little small, no? But from what I can see, it looks nice.
Have you got a simple plane/map as a background? or did you model stuff as a BG?
A screenshot would help to see.
EDIT: ok bigger now :P
Not bad at all. You got the base colours in.. Now you need shadows..

lol im having a bad day, i had 3 images on my memory key of xialynia and the one i uploaded was the one without shading ><. theres shading now :P.
yes the background is modelled if rather badly and i will post a screenshot maybe later cos its on another computer. I have spent these last days running around spending 3 hours playing coh, 3 hours doing 3ds max tutorial in hope of getting the background right and so forth

Well I don't know exactly how far into it you've gotten, but the most efficent way to create a BG in Max would be to model anything that's in the foreground and middleground and then add a plane with a map on it for the background...
I want to see the screenie though

ok i have the screenshots. number one is done by painting over the 3ds max models in paint shop pro and it looks really flat.
 Background 01
number 2 is a screenshot from 3ds max where models have been textured as falloff- no paint program manipulation
 background 2
and finally the third is the same as number two but with paint shop pro manipulation.
 background 3
basically i want the image of xialynia that i first posted to have this as a background and for it to fit and not look weird.

I drew another picture of Xialynia, this time she is older. It is just a sketch i did while bored
 An older Xialynia

A quick picture of my scrapper Xialynia done in paint shop pro 7. This is a child version of her, let me know what you think ^^
 any advice welcome.

I am trying to do an anaimation based on Xialynia and if anyone is familiar with 3ds max , HELP i can't get the background to look right. Either it's too flat or too realistic
