I look out of my window
And see people passing by
A business man in a nice suit
And a young girl, a bit shy
Cars driving past me
Headlights shining bright
The occasional sportsman
Crossing the lampposts light
The sky is turning darker
Clouds are fading away
Moon and stars fill the realm
Its the end of the day
Looking up I see objects fly
Passing faster then sound
Looking down I see a homeless man
Protecting what he has found
A statue far in the distance
Can be seen as it softly glows
Everybody knows what its message is
All are welcome in the City of Heroes
