this is a great idea, will offer any help i can, even if it jsut bringing along my char, hope it gets off the ground.
same here, ill help the best i can! as being a bit of an rp'er in the real world, i can voice act a bit.

I mean thats great guys the more voices the better. I immagine there are ways to get speech recorded and done. Im still lacking artists and logistics on how to get this done though.
Sounds like a nice idea. If you haven't already seen it, a superb example of how this can be done well are the two Max Payne games.
If you haven't given any thought to the "creation environment", Flash might be worth investigating, which would allow you to match the animations, sounds and voices quite well without need to learn too complex a system. It could also be used to add small animated elements to the pages (a la the old Grange Hill intro sequences 
).
Yeah actually I played Max Payne. Never finished it but to the point. That was quite a good one. Was hoping for something quite atmospheric too.
Ok so quite a while back I wanted to write a story for Lodestar my main and other chars I had. But in recent months I wanted to take it further. A few comics have been thrown around and they arent so bad but I had a brainwave 2 months back. Take the comic further and add a soundtrack.
The characters would actually have a person doing the voices and a few sound effects. The story would run as a program playing a soundtrack to the accompaniment of audio voices and effects.
Well the main stumbling blocks are obviously a story needs writing which I can do. But that I am no artist and I need some help on that front to create an atmospheric comic. And of course how to record voices and chhose people and get sound effects for the Audio side of things.
Im confident with the right people it can be done but Im in no illusion I need help advice and well a creative team to get this off. I think its got legs but can any of you help? Or contribute?
Im also liking the idea of putting some of your toons in it here and there to some degree. My way of getting a community thing going and a shout out to friends and creative character makers.
I ask for your thoughts please.
